Blogging's not really my thing

It's pretty obvious by now that blogging got put on the bottom of my "to do" list. I don't think it ever even worked its way up into the top 10! Which really isn't very fair because I really enjoy reading all of my friends blogs and feeling connected. One thing that I finally accomplished is a professional website for my photographs. After a little research, blogging is really not going to do what I need for Red Barn Photography. I think next time I try it, it will just be for writing good memories of our family. Anyway, you can check out some of my work at www.redbarnphotography.zenfolio.com.

All for now!

Red Barn Photography

Hello everyone, I am frequently asked to show clients examples of my work. I hope this blog will work as a portfolio for anyone interested. I'll start with family portrait examples. To make a family picture become a portrait, please take into consideration clothing style and color, natural versus posed, and a location that works with your family. If you have little kids, than getting them to cooperate on the back of a tractor because you're a farm family might not be worth the effort. Or if you have a big family, less details of the location will be noticed and more even lighting is preferable.
